    • Participate in “lunch bucket” presentations
    • Become adept in the resources of all satellite and global offices, and set example of how your client teams can effectively utilize them

Responsibilities & Essential Requirements

  • Project Management
    • Support account lead in driving all day to day components of a PR program
    • Possess good and evolving presentation skills
  • Client Management Skills/Strategic Thinking
    • Exhibit “can do” attitude in all aspects of client activities and press contact
    • Perform basic research focused on snapshot analysis of client clips/coverage and supporting press climate analysis
    • Move toward building strategic consulting abilities by providing recommendations based on contributions from senior HA account leads
    • Provide senior HA manager with solutions rather than merely defining problems
    • Emphasize attaining viable and measurable client program results
  • Digital
    • Have a good understanding about digital media channels and develop knowledge and insights on how to incorporate conventional media with social media
    • Use social media channels personally and learn how they are evolving on an on-going basis
    • Applies a global lens to communication strategies
    • Digital strategies are an expected component of the agency’s strategic thinking, communications plans, and client/influential engagement; apply a digital mindset as part of how we think about communication strategy
  • Media/Analyst Relations
    • Foster relationships with reporters and analysts
    • Take responsibility for proactive/reactive media/analyst relations, ongoing review of Ed/Cal to identify opportunities for clients
    • Focus on media relations; emphasis on building relationships with clients’ target influencers, overall, to help facilitate ongoing and future coverage
    • Facilitate media and analyst relations by providing value-add service and content
    • Support selective media interviews and events, generally in concert with AM
  • Writing Services
    • Demonstrate strong written skills for basic press materials (bios, corporate backgrounders, factsheets, product/services sheets)
    • Develop and hone writing skills for complex press materials (persuasive pitch letters, basic news releases, case studies, event wrap up reports)
    • Research and write value-add reports relating to briefing documents, media/client/ industry/competitive landscape insights
