Description
The international SRE team plays a critical role in Tencent Cloud in supporting the global expansion in international regions including Asia, America, Europe and etc. The team is deeply embedded in product teams as well as infrastructure teams with focus on improving system reliability, scalability and development productivity. You will be working closely on the world-leading cloud technology solutions. The technical challenge of fast-growing public cloud provider presents an unique opportunity for individuals to grow perspectives and experiences of running a service that impacts millions of companies.
Responsibilities
- Owning and improving the scalability and reliability of our services products.
- Working directly with product engineering teams and infrastructure teams.
- Hands on designing, coding, configuring, debugging, and monitoring.
- Advocating for DevOps and SRE culture and best practices in cross-functional teams.
- Maintaining a positive and supportive team work culture.
Essential Requirements
- You have 5+ years’ experience as a SRE, combing multiple IaaS and PaaS products
- You have experience with distributed systems, performance enhancement, data stores like RDBMS, and NoSQL.
- You love systems and software and are competent in both engineering competencies.
- You have strong interests on diving into different system architectures and understand the system limitation and are curious to solve the problems with systematic methodologies.
- You are organized with your work and would love to share your thoughts and solutions with the team via documentations and presentations.
