  • HA Services
    • Define team hiring needs and refer candidates to ensure high-quality recruiting program
    • Conduct “lunch bucket” presentations
    • Participate in “lunch bucket” presentations
    • Become adept in the resources of all satellite and global offices, and coach your account executives and client teams to effectively use them
  • Knowledge of Agency Life/Clients/Technology
    • Strong industry and technology knowledge related to client accounts
    • Strong understanding of client’s business objectives tie them to communications objections
    • Communicate strategic direction to client, account team and relevant vice president
    • Mentor account teams
    • Demonstrate responsibility for Agency-wide levels of profitability, new business, quality of account service and employee development

Responsibilities & Essential Requirements

  • Project Management
    • Take responsibility for multiple accounts, projects (with similar and/or disparate backgrounds)
    • Manage budgets and Agency teams for multiple accounts
  • Client Management Skills/Consulting
    • Develop launch strategies, product positioning, messaging and creative tactical ideas
    • Anticipate and resolve potential problems
    • Demonstrate assertiveness and push-back ability, as required
    • Demonstrate ability to grow existing accounts
    • Develop competitive analysis
    • Demonstrate ability to counsel clients’ executive management on communications issues and strategies
    • As a HA senior manager, demonstrate ability to set and exceed client expectations as a provider of strategic counsel
  • Digital
    • Have a good understanding about digital media channels and develop knowledge and insights on how to incorporate conventional media with social media
    • Use social media channels personally and learn how they are evolving on an on-going basis
    • Applies a global lens to communication strategies
    • Digital strategies are an expected component of the agency’s strategic thinking, communications plans, and client/influential engagement; apply a digital mindset as part of how we think about communication strategy
    • Process planning skill to integrate owned media and earned media communications.
  • Media/Analyst Relations
    • Possess strong network of media and analyst contacts
    • Develop strong relationship with media, analysts and clients
    • Develop press climate analyses
  • Writing Services
    • Demonstrate superior writing skills (complex press releases, white papers, PR plans)
    • Create and deliver presentations/speeches
    • Assist in mentoring others in their writing skills
