We are looking for a senior SDET / SDET with a deep interest in usability and user experience design. If that’s you, we’d love to talk with you.
The exact mix of other skills does not matter, so long as your tool chest includes a mix of abilities. Be willing to attack anything that comes your way, learn on the fly and get things done. Responsibilities
- Work with PMs to understand our web and mobile apps design, and to develop test plans
- Work with engineering teams to identify and capture test cases
- Build out test environments, design test plans, develop test cases/scenarios/usage cases, and executing these cases
- Design and implement test framework, make use of tools such as Selenium, Appium, XCUI, Espresso, KIF, etc
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams and identify root causes
- Ensure that our apps run as designed and without usability issues, and that they are regularly tested across all our target platforms
- Create Github issues describing necessary modifications or improvements
- Tracklists of Github issues and agree on their priorities with the PM and engineering teams
- Directly interface with our users to replicate and report issues
- Be an owner and advocate of product quality
