As a legal specialist, you will safeguard our reputation by guaranteeing that the company strictly follows guidelines and give legal advice to management about all relevant issues.
What you’ll do
- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations
- Draft and solidify agreements, Intellectual Property (trademark and patent), contracts, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights
- Communicate and negotiate with external parties on all legal matters
- Provide accurate and timely counsel in a variety of legal topics
- Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues
- Provide clarification on legal language or specifications to the company
- Maintain current knowledge of legislative changes
- Support daily operations and perform ad-hoc projects as directed
Nice if you have
- 3-5 years of legal experience in reputable law firms and/or MNC (multinational companies); experience working with startup companies or in an entrepreneurial environment highly preferable
- Excellent judgement and ability to analyze situations and information
- Possessing the ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Native/Bilingual in English and Chinese
- Strong attention to details
- Appreciation of new technology
- Experience with M&A and litigation with US and/or Europe jurisdiction and regulation is highly preferable
