teamLab is a collective, interdisciplinary creative group that brings together professionals from various fields of practice in the digital society: artists, programmers, engineers, CG animators, mathematicians, architects, web and print graphic designers and editors. Referring to themselves as ultratechnologists, the group aims to go beyond the boundaries between art, science, technology and creativity, through co-creative activities.

テクノロジーとクリエイティブの境界はすでに曖昧になりつつあり、今後のこの傾向はさらに加速していくでしょう。そんな情報社会において、サイエンス・テクノロジー・デザイン・アートなどの境界を曖昧にしながら、『実験と革新』をテーマにものを創ることによって、もしくは、創るプロセスを通して、ものごとのソリューションを提供します。

BIOGRAPHY

チームラボは、アート活動を行うArt collective teamLabの基盤であり、法人格である。最新のテクノロジーを活用したデジタルソリューション、大規模なシステム開発や、プロダクト、デジタルコンテンツの制作、都市計画や建築空間設計などを行う。アーティスト、プログラマ、エンジニア、CGアニメーター、数学者、建築家など、デジタル社会の様々な分野のスペシャリストから構成されているウルトラテクノロジスト集団で、アート、サイエンス、テクノロジー、クリエイティビティの境界を越えて、集団的創造をコンセプトに活動している。

ニューヨーク、ロンドン、パリ、シンガポール、シリコンバレー、北京、台北、メルボルンなど世界各地で常設展およびアート展を開催。東京・お台場に《地図のないミュージアム》「チームラボボーダレス」を開館。2022年末まで東京・豊洲に《水に入るミュージアムと花と一体化する庭園》「チームラボ プラネッツ」開催中。2019年上海・黄浦濱江に新ミュージアム「teamLab Borderless Shanghai」を開館。2020年6月にマカオに常設展「teamLab SuperNature Macao」ソフトオープン。
