Role
As a WebDeveloper at Tektome, you’ll be an integral contributor to our projects, crafting and optimizing our web platforms to be efficient, scalable, and user-centric.
Responsibilities
- Craft, develop, and maintain reliable and efficient Ruby on Rails code
- Seamless integration of data storage using PostgreSQL
- Collaborate on front-end elements designed by teammates using modern JS and TailwindCSS
- Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Diagnose and rectify bottlenecks and bugs
- Spearhead the incorporation of user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Uphold code quality and organization standards
- Deploy automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Collaborate with DevOps to improve CI/CD pipelines for streamlined integration and deployment
- EmployDocker for scalable and consistent environments
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum of 4+ years in-depth experience with Ruby on Rails
- At least 2 years of experience with modern JS frameworks
- Strong proficiency with Docker and containerization strategies
- Understanding in creating and managing CI/CD workflows
- Comprehensive experience with PostgreSQL
- Proven ability to design and execute tests for code
- Adeptness in front-end development using TailwindCSS
- Business Level English
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Python development
- Familiarity with large language model integration
- Experience or understanding of Azure cloud offerings
- Practical experience with graph databases and technologies (e.g., Neo4j etc)
- Experience with working GraphQL integrations
