Role

We are looking for a Senior UX Researcher who is passionate about being user-centric, skilled in communicating crisp research findings, and skilled in driving impact within a team and across an organization.

Our Product Experience department comprises Product Management, UXI, Product Data, and Customer Success teams. Our mission is to acquire a deep understanding and empathy of users; we leverage these to innovate solutions to their problems.

We are a data-informed team obsessed with our user experience, and we coordinate across many departments, including Frontend, Backend, QA, SRE, Compliance, and Growth.

Responsibilities

  • We are targeting emerging markets such as India and Africa. You must be very passionate about understanding our users, and be able to develop a deep empathy of their problems
  • Facilitate thoughtful conversations with our users as well as internal stakeholders
  • Deliver UX research projects based on human-computer interaction concepts, and explain the “why” behind your proposals
  • Based on a deep understanding of our users’ frame of mind, their goals and objectives, propose how our products can not only solve their problems, but also deliver a world-class experience to them
  • Help with onboarding and training of new team members
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Be focused on independent work and growth given appropriate levels of guidance
  • Take stretch assignments that expand your skills

Requirements

  • 3+ years of UX research with consumer mobile app users
  • Fluent with Figma and other prototyping tools
  • Experienced in translating insights into user stories to help product teams understand users
  • Experienced in presenting insights using very concise and easy-to-understand language
  • Experienced in advocating the role of UX research across the entire company
