CATCHPLAY is looking for an experienced WEB Frontend Tech Lead to combine the art of user experience with the art of programming in delivering our on-demand movie streaming service.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product owner or key stake holders to scope product roadmap and technical development
- Take ownership of frontend task breakdown and ensure they are rigorous and accurate for team collaboration
- Educate the team and be an advocate for best engineering practices
- Be ready to dive into issues and provide solutions related to backend collaborations
- Collaborate with QA manager to ensure QA process is adhered to
- Leads and mentor the team to establish strong team rapport as well as team performance
- Achieve technical and strategic objectives for new web development e.g. PWA, Web-based TV APP, Integration with Android instant APP
- Contributes to the open source community and may engage in speaking events
Essential Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in software engineering
- 3+ years’ experience with frontend development focus
- Champion the stack: Webpack, ES7, React, Flux, Redux
- Advanced level of hands on skills on HTML5, Java Script, CSS3, Less and SASS
- Good knowledge of development operations from software integration, infrastructure changes to deployment.
- Have kept pace with trending frameworks, tools and libraries and have discipline to know when to adopt a new technologies and when to let them mature
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them (e.g. including Facebook browser)
- Strong experience in quality management and performance testing
- Good knowledge of SEO principles and ensure application stay adhere to them
